My Review~
Allie is going for her monthly dates. She walks into
the club and looks around. She walks to the bar and sits down. The guy next to
her has caught her eye. She watches him turn a girl down. When she talks to him
and he says yes, she can’t wait for what she hopes he will give her. Afterwards
she is left questioning why a man with his strength was loveable. A month
passes before she sees Colin again. He finds her preoccupied, she is
embarrassed.
Colin hasn’t had an easy life. Now he works for his
brother and it isn’t always by the law. Allie knows this and accepts him the
way he comes. When she tells him about her daughter he doesn’t care, he wants
her and whatever she has to bring. Allie is in trouble she turns to her white
knight. He helps her by letting her and her daughter move in with him.
When she meets his brother she doesn’t like him, and
he doesn’t care for her. After she finds out what it really going on, she knows
only one thing to do.
I really got into this book really fast. It makes you
want more and more. I really love a book I can put down and this is it. This is
the first book I read from Amber Lin and I will be looking for more. The spark
and love between Colin and Allie is unforgettable. And with the steamy love
scenes, what more could you ask for? I will say most times I can guess where a book
where end, and this one surprised me. It was a great surprised though. Now I
would recommend this book to everyone!!
